MODA FLAMENCA

Ya que llevamos unos días tan flamencos, voy a intentar mostraros algunas diferencias entre ir vestida de flamenca para una Feria y para un Rocío, ya que los requisitos no son los mismos.

Para ir vestida de flamenca para una Feria, debe ser algo meditado, hay un protocolo marcado incluso con elementos casi prohibidos (como las gafas de sol), además de las tendencias y modas del momento en volantes, escotes, colores y mangas, algunos clásicos nunca pasan de moda y cada elemento es importante.

La flamenca clásica va peinada con la raya en medio y un moño más o menos desecho, este año se lleva bajo y realizado con trenzas, pero nunca la melena suelta y lo adornamos con peinas de nácar, plástico, carey o metal y por supuesto las flores (que este año se llevan a puñados), tradicionalmente esta flor es alta pero es cuestión de moda y gustos, yo soy más partidaria de llevarla baja al lado de la oreja, creo que favorece mucho más pero ya os digo que es cuestión de gustos.

Para el tema vestidos nos olvidamos del popelín y damos paso a las gasas, muselinas o satenes; escote en V o barco, la espalda al aire, y es el año de los volantes y las mangas largas o hasta el codo (aunque ese detalle con el calor habrá más de una que se lo salte).

En cuestión de color, el blanco siempre básico, negro para la noche bien pero para el día os dará mucha calor, y las dudas entre el liso o el estampado (print de lunares (el clásico), rayas (quizás no la mejor opción) y flores (uno de los favoritos para la feria)). Este año además, se llevan los colores vibrantes y saturados o los tierras, ocres y metalizados, también los bloques de colores antagónicos (fríos con cálidos).

En complementos se llevan los pendientes grandes, los mantones brocados, bordados y con grandes flecos. Y en el calzado lo mejor, un tacón cómodo, grueso o, cuña de esparto o botín.

Por el contrario, para ir vestida para el Rocío, la bata rociera suele ser la opción más cómoda porque pesa menos, aunque también está el traje de flamenca corto o la falda de talle alto con camisa perforada (un buena opción si vas a caballo), las mangas nunca largas y el vestido no demasiado estrecho, que te permita caminar con comodidad.

Para el calzado los botos o las zapatillas de esparto bajas y complementos pocos (quizás alguno más especial para la Presentación o para cuando estéis en el Rocío).

La flor, los peinecillos, el pelo siempre recogido con moño, trenza,... lo que queráis pero recogido es mucho más cómodo para el camino, sin abusar de productos para el pelo para que no acentúe el polvo,  y nada de bolso, mejor una riñonera que te permite moverte con más comodidad y para este caso yo os recomendaría también protección solar y algo de abrigo (chaquetilla, poncho, rebecas...) para el frío de la mañana y la madrugá y, por supuesto y más importante, la medalla de tu hermandad.

Since it has taken these few days as "flamenco", I will try to show you some differences between wear a flamenco dress for a Fair and for a Rocio's pilgrimage because the requirements are not the same.

To go to a fair, should be something thoughtful, there is a specified protocol even some almost prohibited items (such as sunglasses), as well as trends and fads in ruffles, necklines, colors and sleeves, some classics never go out of style and every element is important.

The classical flamenco's woman is combed parted in the middle and a messy bun. This year is wearing down and performed with braids, but hair never goes down and comb adorned with mother of pearl, plastic, tortoiseshell or metal and of course the flowers (which this year take handfuls), traditionally this flower takes high but a matter of fashion and likes, I'm more in favor of carrying down and next to the ear, I think it helps much but I say it's a matter of likes.

About the dresses we forget poplin dresses and give way to the gauze, muslin or satin, V-neck or boat, back into the air, and this is the year of the ruffles and long sleeves or elbow length (although that detail with the heat will be more than one that skip it).

In terms of color, white is always basic, black for nights well but for the day are warmer, and doubts between smooth or printing (print with polka dots (the classic), stripes (perhaps not the best choice) and flowers (one of the favorites for the Fair)). This year also take vibrant, saturated colors or earth, ocher and metallic, too antagonistic colored blocks (cold to hot).

In additions take big earrings, shawls brocades, embroidery and large fringe. And in footwear best, a comfortable heel, thick or wedge of esparto or loot.

On the contrary, to be dressed for the Rocio's pilgrimage rociera gown is usually the easiest option because it weighs less, but there is also the short flamenco dress or high-waisted skirt with perforated jacket (one good option if you're riding) , never long sleeves and the dress is not too tight, that allows you to walk comfortably.

To footwear his boots or low esparto shoes and few accessories (maybe one more special for the presentation or when you are on the way).

The flower, combs, hair is always tied with ribbon, braid, ... whatever you want but collected is much more comfortable to walk, without abusing hair products that does not accentuate the dust and never bugs, a fanny pack is much better that lets you move easily and in this case I will also recommend sun protection and some coats (jacket, poncho, cardigans ...) to the coldness of the morning and night and of course and most important, your guild medal.
